If you're figuring out how to upgrade Windows 10 Home to Pro, Optimizer can be useful for reviewing and adjusting system settings before and after making changes to your Windows installation.
How to upgrade Windows 10 Home to Pro
- Open Settings and go to Update & Security → Activation.
- Check the currently installed edition and activation status.
- Choose the option to change or upgrade the product edition.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the edition upgrade.
- Restart the computer when prompted.
- Return to the Activation page and confirm that the Pro edition is installed and activated.
This process upgrades the existing installation without requiring a complete system reinstall, so personal files and installed applications can normally remain in place.

- Keep the computer connected to power during the upgrade.
- Check the activation status after restarting.
