To send photos from iPhone to computer wirelessly. iCloud Photos is an efficient wireless method because it automates the entire process. Once you enable iCloud Photos on your iPhone and sign into the same Apple ID on your computer (Mac or PC), every photo you take is automatically uploaded to Apple's cloud storage.
Step 1: Turn on iCloud Photos on your iPhone
- Go to Settings → tap your name at the top → iCloud → Photos.
- Turn on Sync this iPhone. This uploads all your photos to iCloud.
Step 2: Enable iCloud Photos on your computer
- On a Mac: Open System Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → click Photos → turn on Sync this Mac.
- On a Windows PC: Download and install iCloud for Windows from the Microsoft Store. Sign in with the same Apple ID, then check Photos and click Apply. Choose to download new photos to a folder of your choice.
Step 3: Let the wireless sync happen automatically
- Once both devices are set up and connected to the internet, iCloud automatically keeps everything in sync. Any photo you take on your iPhone will appear on your computer within moments — no cables, no manual transfers.
By using iCloud Photos, you can reliably send photos from iPhone to computer wirelessly without having to email, message, or plug in anything. The only requirements are a stable internet connection and enough iCloud storage space for your photo library.
