How to revert from Windows 11 Pro to Home Edition after upgrading to Pro?
I upgraded Windows 11 23H2 on the official website. When I entered the key at the key entry step, it upgraded to the professional version. Now I need to activate Windows, but I don't remember my orig...
Microsoft provides generic keys for Windows editions. These won't activate Windows but will allow installation.
After installation, Windows will be in an unactivated state, but you can attempt to activate later if you find your original key or purchase a new one.
