How to Locate Special Characters

Windows offers a valuable tool that allows you to easily access a wide range of symbols by simply pressing the Windows key + period. However, a major problem lies in the lack of a search function within the symbol panel. This issue becomes apparent when seeking specific symbols, such as the micro symbol (µ), which can be a challenging task without a search feature. I recently spent 20 minutes searching for the micro symbol, only to resort to using ALT+0181 after finding the code through a Google search. If anyone has a solution for efficiently locating symbols among the numerous options provided by Microsoft, it would be greatly appreciated.

First, a small clarification: The search bar at the top of the Emoji Panel does work for emoji. For the micro symbol, it won't help, but for others like "heart," "checkmark," or "arrow," it can be useful. It's worth trying your symbol name there first, as Microsoft has been adding more functionality.
