How to force Win11 to sort files the way I want when opening directory?
I'm having difficulty with the file sorting options in Windows 11 when I open a directory. Despite adjusting the settings, I find that the files are not organizing in the specific order I prefer, which can be quite frustrating. I want to ensure that every time I access a folder, the files are arranged to match my personal preferences, whether that's by name, date, or type.

If you always want files sorted in a specific order, setting your preferred view and sorting options and applying them to all folders should generally work in Windows 11. If it doesn't, it might be due to specific folder types or view modes overriding your settings.
