How to enable dark mode in the Notepad application on Windows 10?

I want to switch the interface theme of the Notepad application that comes with the Windows 10 system to dark mode, but I don't know the specific settings entry or how to do it. Clear step-by-step instructions are needed.

In Settings > Personalisation > Colours, change the default app theme to Dark, and Notepad in Windows 10 will automatically switch to dark mode to match the system theme.

Click on the Start menu (Windows icon) or press the Windows key. Click on the Settings gear icon, or press Windows + I to open Settings directly.

If Notepad doesn't switch immediately: Close and reopen Notepad. You can toggle between Light and Dark modes anytime by repeating the steps above and choosing the preferred setting.

Sometimes, multiple boot entries can cause confusion:

    Boot into UEFI Firmware Settings.

Check the boot order and delete any duplicate or invalid entries.

Use tools like bcdedit or bcdboot to repair boot entries.

Click on the Start menu and select the gear icon to open Settings, or press Windows + I on your keyboard.
