How to crop a video exactly the way I want on PC?
You want to remove unwanted picture areas, not shorten the timeline, while previewing the framing and avoiding a watermark or needless quality loss. Microsoft Clipchamp on Windows 10 supports this with its freehand crop tool. Import the video, place it on the timeline, select the clip, then choose Crop from the floating toolbar. Drag the side, top, bottom, or corner handles until the preview keeps the subject positioned as required, and select Done. Play the timeline to check the whole clip before exporting. Choose 1080p for the highest resolution available in Clipchamp’s free personal tier; the result is an MP4, and Clipchamp adds no watermark. Avoid premium stock or features, because they can prevent export on the free plan. A lossless result cannot be promised because export re-encodes the video, and free 1080p reduces a 4K source. Clipchamp’s Windows app requires Microsoft-account sign-in, so it cannot meet the no-login preference.
