How does Windows protect itself from viruses?
I am trying to understand the core security mechanisms that Windows uses to defend itself against viruses and malware infections. Could someone explain the key built-in protective layers, such as Windows Defender, UAC, and other system-level defenses, that work together to prevent, detect, and remove malicious software from the operating system?
