How does Windows 10 automatically restore folder names after dragging and dropping?
In Windows 10, when renaming one of two frequently used folders and then dragging it into another folder, or dragging it back to the desktop from the folder, the renamed folder's name occasionally reverts to its original name.

Right-click the folder > Properties > Security. Ensure your user account has Full control. If not, click Edit to adjust permissions.
