How do you get apple music for free and keep it as mp3

Is this possible? I have a long playlist of my favorite songs on Apple Music and want to keep a local copy on my Windows laptop. These are totally free country music and podcasts. The problem is tha...

For tracks that you have permission to store locally, get Apple Music for free can be approached by exporting the playlist information and finding matching audio files locally. This GitHub project reads an Apple Music or iTunes playlist exported as XML and uses the track details to locate MP3 versions.

Playlist Export and MP3 Matching:

  • XML Playlist Input➕Track Detection
  • Automatic Matching➕MP3 Output

 

Export and Matching Workflow:

  1. Export the playlist as an XML file from Apple Music or iTunes.✔️
  2. Place the XML file in the project folder.✔️
  3. Set the script to use that playlist file.✔️
  4. Let the program process the artist and track names.✔️
  5. Save the matched audio files as MP3 files.✔️
  6. Use the generated files as a local copy of the playlist.✔️

 

This method may produce incorrect matches and cannot unlock DRM-protected streams. get Apple Music for free only applies to music you are legally allowed to download.
