How can I transfer data from iphone to iphone without icloud?
To transfer data from iPhone to iPhone using a USB-C cable and Finder, follow these steps:
Prerequisites:
Ensure you're using a USB-C cable that supports data transfer.
Ensure both iPhones are running iOS 12.4 or later.
Ensure the Mac is running macOS Catalina or later.
Ensure both iPhones are connected to the same Apple ID.
Steps to Transfer Data from iPhone to iPhone:
1. Connect iPhone to Mac: Plug the first iPhone into the Mac using the USB-C cable provided.
2. Connect Second iPhone: Plug the second iPhone into the Mac using a different USB-C port.
3. Open Finder: Open Finder on the Mac, you should see both iPhone devices in the sidebar.
4. Select iPhone: Click on the first iPhone in the Finder sidebar, then click on the General tab.
5. Transfer Data: Click on Encrypt Local Backup and follow the on-screen instructions to create a local backup on the Mac.
6. Set Up Second iPhone: Set up the second iPhone as if you were doing a first-time setup, but choose Restore from this backup and select the backup created in the previous step.
7. Wait and Confirm: Wait for the transfer process to complete, then confirm that the data has been successfully transferred to the second iPhone.
