How can I recover permanently deleted files on Windows 10?
Hi everyone, I'm reaching out to the community in hopes of finding a solution to a problem I've recently encountered. I've accidentally permanently deleted some important files from my Windows 10...
If you've permanently deleted files on Windows 10, you can first check if File History was enabled. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Backup, and see if previous versions of the files are available to restore.
Another built-in feature is Previous Versions. Right-click on the folder where the files were stored, select Properties, and go to the Previous Versions tab. If any backups are available, you can restore the deleted files from there.
If these options aren't available, recovery without software becomes more difficult, as Windows doesn't have an internal tool for deep file recovery once they've been permanently deleted and the space has been overwritten.
