How can I recover a file from an overwritten partition?
I recently had to reinstall a saved system partition, resulting in the overwriting of all data on my C drive. Unfortunately, this process has caused the loss of certain files that were stored in my AppData/Local/Kemper Amps folder prior to the reinstallation. Despite attempting various recovery tools, I have been unable to retrieve these missing files. If you have any suggestions or solutions (aside from reminding me to back up my data), please share them. Thank you.

When you reinstalled the system partition, the installer formatted your C: drive. This means the file system's "table of contents" was wiped and a new, empty one was created. The actual data (the 1s and 0s on the disk) remained for a time, but the reinstallation process then wrote a new Windows OS, programs, and system files over a significant portion of the drive.
