It sounds like you want a true iTunes music download to computer. Screen recording software captures everything that appears on your display and everything that comes out of your speakers. If you were to play a song in iTunes while running a screen recorder, the software would create a video file showing the iTunes window moving while simultaneously recording the audio playing through your computer's sound system.

You would need to:

1. Set up your screen recording software

2. Play the entire song from start to finish while the recording runs

3. Stop the recording

4. Trim the silent parts from the beginning and end

5. Export the audio portion as a separate file

6. Manually add the song title, artist name, album art, and other metadata

Now multiply that by an entire library. If you have 500 songs, that is roughly 25 hours of continuous recording and editing—for inferior quality files. This is not a solution; it is a monumental waste of time.

But I need to be honest with you: screen recording is not a direct method for an iTunes music download to computer.
