How can I clear browser cache from chrome?
Windows Storage Sense is a built-in feature in Windows 10 and Windows 11 that helps manage and free up storage space by automatically deleting unnecessary files, including temporary files, system cache, and other non-essential data. However, it does not specifically target or clear browser cache Chrome directly.
How Storage Sense Can Help:
* Temporary Files: Storage Sense can delete temporary system files, which may include some cached data that Windows stored temporarily.
* General Cleanup: It can free up space by removing files from your Downloads folder, Recycle Bin, and other locations.
How to Use Storage Sense for clearing browser cache Chrome:
1. Open Settings:
Press Windows + I to open Settings.
2. Navigate to Storage:
Go to System > Storage.
3. Configure Storage Sense:
Turn on Storage Sense.
Click on Configure Storage Sense or run it now.
4. Run Immediately:
You can click Run Storage Sense now to perform a cleanup.
Limitations:
Chrome Cache Not Targeted: Storage Sense does not specifically clear Chrome's browsing or cache data.
Browser Data Clearing: For a thorough clearing of Chrome's cache, cookies, and other browsing data, use Chrome's built-in "Clear browsing data" feature.
