Chrome's Built-In "Cleanup" Tool is primarily designed to help identify and remove harmful software or malware that might be affecting your browser's performance. It is not specifically intended for clearing browser cache Chrome.
However, if you'd like to use Chrome's "Cleanup" tool, here’s what you need to know:
- Open Chrome on your Windows computer.
- Click on the three dots (menu) in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down and click on Advanced to expand more options.
- Under the Reset and clean up section, click on Clean up computer.
- Click on Find. Chrome will then scan your computer for any software that might be causing issues, including malware.
This tool is useful if you're experiencing problems with Chrome, but for clearing the cache specifically, it’s better to use the "Clear browsing data" method I described earlier.
