Home intranet

My home intranet has suddenly stopped working. There has been a recent update of Windows 10. I do not know if that or something else has caused the problem. I can see the other computer and it's printer on this machine. I can see this computer and it's printer on the other machine BUT each sees the others printer as "offline" (when it is not) and neither can use the others printer or pass a file. I really need the home network to work! Does anyone have any suggestions?
