HIF image is not viewable even after install the HEIF Image Extension
I have installed HEIF Image Extensions as well as HEVC Video Extensions but still unable to view hif file on my Windows 10 PC.
- Double-check that both HEIF Image Extensions and HEVC Video Extensions are installed correctly. You can do this by going to the Microsoft Store and checking if they are listed as installed in your account.
- Open the Microsoft Store, search for the HEIF Image Extension and HEVC Video Extensions, and ensure they are updated.
Make sure the file extension is actually correct. Sometimes, files might be mislabeled. HIF files should typically use the .heif or .hif extension, but you might want to double-check the format. If the file is in a different format, you’ll need the appropriate software.
