Hard drive D gone
Without me having done anything special, my D drive has disappeared! When I restart my PC, I no longer have any icons on the desktop and I have the message "D:\Desktop Moved from C to D is not avail...

Hi - kindly try this.
Device Manager
Press Windows + X → select Device Manager.
Expand Disk Drives. Is the missing drive listed?
If yes but with a yellow warning: Right-click → Uninstall → Restart PC.
About the Desktop Error
Windows thinks your Desktop folder is on the missing D: drive:
Once D: is restored, files should come back.
If not, you can:
Create a new folder C:\Users\<YourName>\Desktop
Go to C:\Users\<YourName>, right-click Desktop → Properties → Location tab
