Getting re-orientated, the lay of the land

Confusion regarding Windows-10 Pro 64.

While trying to re-establish myself on Windows-10, I came across an item I do not feel comfortable with.
I refer to Windows-10 Disk Management frequently while working my photo project.
On occasion, I need to use MiniDisk Partition Wizard.
While doing this today, I noticed something that startled me.
I am attaching two Snips, one each of the Disk Management and MiniDisk Partition Wizard display of my C:\ Drive.
Note the number of "partitions / segments" on each Snip.
MiniDisk has one additional or Disk Management has one fewer.

  • Windows often creates hidden partitions for recovery, EFI system, or OEM diagnostics. These may or may not be visible depending on the tool.
