Following the Windows 10 update, the language bar's input field fails to display.

After updating Windows 10 on my computer last night, the typing box fails to display properly when entering text. When attempting to adjust the settings, I noticed that the "Dock to taskbar" option in the language bar is grayed out and cannot be selected.

    • Restart Windows Explorer.
    • Enable Use the desktop language bar in settings.
    • Reset language bar settings via registry if necessary.
    • Reinstall or reconfigure input languages.
    • Keep Windows updated.
    • Run SFC scan.

The issue you're describing—where the typing box doesn't display properly after a Windows 10 update, and the "Dock to taskbar" option in the language bar is grayed out—can be caused by a few different factors, often related to language bar settings, input method configurations, or system glitches introduced by the update.

Press Win + R, type services, and press Enter. Find Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service. Right-click and select Restart.

Sometimes, a simple restart can fix glitches caused by updates. Restart your PC and check if the issue persists.
