Fixing Windows 10 without reformat/reinstall?
I have a new computer that I bought mid-November. Things worked smoothly for the first month or so. Then I started getting anomalies like the default browser setting reverts to Edge daily (sometimes multiple times daily.)

First, try the built-in tools like Startup Repair, System Restore, and running DISM/SFC commands from WinRE or Safe Mode to repair corrupted files and boot issues.
