Fixing a Taskbar Problem on Windows 11

After installing the Windows Configuration Update (KB5030509), my taskbar underwent significant changes. Before the update, I had it set with the start button in the middle, and on the right were my frequently used program icons, such as CCleaner. However, since the update, the layout is completely different and I cannot seem to restore it to its original configuration when I first received my new computer in February. It's frustrating to see these unexpected changes without understanding why Microsoft made such alterations.

Apparently this was intentional. You can no longer reposition the taskbar, or change it's size or the layout in any way without going through significantly risky procedures, such as editing the registry, or downloading third party software that comes with it's own risks if you don't manually update said software whenever microsoft puts out an update of their own. I also just read that they have no plans on FIXING this any time soon, as they're concentrating on other aspects of windows 11 as a result of "user feedback," but I'm calling hogwash on that. You cannot convince me that MS wasn't inundated with complaints regarding the essentially broken taskbar. All you have to do is do a quick search with "windows 11 will microsoft fix taskbar" as your query, or different variations of the stated query, to see it's not as niche of a complaint as they want you to believe it is. I think they did this on purpose, and they're just telling us to deal with it because they're not going to change it.

    Super user friendly.
