Fast way to transfer files from PC to Google Pixel phone?
In short, USB cable. It is one of the simplest and most reliable methods. It allows for direct file transfers without the need for an internet connection or third-party apps. This method is particularly useful if you have a large collection of videos and music, as it avoids potential issues with cloud storage limits or internet speed.
1. Use a USB cable (the one that came with your phone or any compatible cable) to connect your Google Pixel phone to your PC.
2. Once connected, you should see a notification on your phone asking if you want to allow file transfers. Tap on Allow or File Transfer to enable this mode.
3. On your PC, open This PC (or My Computer on older versions of Windows). Your Google Pixel phone should now appear as a device listed under Devices and Drives. Double-click on your phone’s icon to open it and see its internal storage.
4. On your PC, navigate to the folder containing the videos and music files you want to transfer. Select the files or folders, then drag and drop them into the appropriate folder on your Pixel phone’s storage. Depending on the size of the files, the transfer process may take a few minutes. Larger collections could take longer.
It is is generally faster than using cloud storage to transfer files from Windows PC to a Google Pixel phone using a USB cable , especially for large files like videos and music. It's a great option if you don’t want to rely on internet speed or cloud storage limits.
