Extending c drive by moving space from d drive
I am running out of space on c drive which has 237 GB. I just noticed that my D drive has 1.8 TB of space. I have been unable to extend the c drive via disk management. File Explorer shows a disk...

It sounds like your C and D drives are actually on two different physical disks (Disk 0 and Disk 1). If that’s the case, you unfortunately can’t extend C by taking space directly from D because Windows Disk Management only allows extending within the same physical drive.
What you can do:
Free up space on C by moving large files, games, or personal data to D.
Change default save locations (Documents, Pictures, Downloads, etc.) to D.
If you really need more space on C, another option would be to clone your C drive to a larger SSD or HDD and replace it.
So yes, they are separate disks and that’s why Disk Management isn’t giving you the option to extend.
