Export the entire contact list from my iPhone to excel or csv on windows?
Send via Email is a simple method to export contacts from iphone to csv, suitable only for small numbers of contacts.
It allows you to share individual contacts as vCards directly from the iPhone Contacts app, but it is not practical for large contact lists.
First, open the Contacts app on your iPhone. Select a contact, tap "Share Contact", then choose the Mail option. Send the contact to your own email address.
On your PC, open the email and download the attached .vcf file. Then use an online converter to convert the .vcf file to CSV format.
Its advantages include requiring no account sync setup, working entirely on the iPhone without extra software, and letting you select specific contacts instead of exporting all at once.
Its drawbacks include being very slow for large contact lists, requiring manual conversion, and risking exposing sensitive contact data to online converters.
This allows you to export contacts from iphone to csv without setting up cloud sync, but it is only suitable for exporting a few contacts at a time.
Notes
- If you need to export multiple contacts, merge the vCard files first to avoid having to convert them one by one.
- Before deleting the email, carefully check whether the .vcf attachment is corrupted or incomplete.
- For sensitive contact information, we recommend using an email service with end-to-end encryption.
