Experiencing a Variety of App and .Net failures after Recent Windows Greenscreen

Greetings, recently about a week or so ago my Windows 10 desktop experienced a sudden green screen and crashed immediately while I was browsing the web. The system restarted and ran a check disk and showed that there weren't any issues and has since restarted fine, but I've been noticing multiple errors on apps and behavior. Below are a few of the issues:

  • I use Bing wallpaper and when it tries to run I get the following error: "Please set registry key HKLM\Software\Microsoft\.NetFramework\Installroot to point to the .NET Framework install location". I've tried running a variety of .Net repair utilities and reinstalling .Net 4.6.1 but all give me other errors that prevent the fix or installation.
  • File system search seems to be super slow and doesn't seem to work anymore; when trying to search for a file the cursor just stays spinning endlessly
  • Some other apps fail or throw other errors that they cannot find their DLL's. For those apps that fail I can't seem to find them in my uninstall list either
  • Some apps seem to be unaffected.
  • I am running Windows 10 Version 21H1 (OS Build 19043.2364)

I'm not sure what else to do to try to salvage some of these apps and get my system running again to how it performed prior to the green screen crash, any help would be greatly appreciated.
