Error 0x00000000: Your system is running too perfectly—please insert a problem to continue

I keep getting this bizarre error message that says "Error 0x00000000: Your system is running too perfectly—please insert a problem to continue," and I honestly don't even know where to begin troubleshooting because the error itself is telling me there's nothing wrong, but clearly something is triggering this pop-up every time I start my computer. Has anyone else encountered this weird joke of an error, and if so, is it actually harmless or is it a sign of a deeper issue hiding beneath the surface that Windows just isn't catching?

The way fake Windows error messages are made is often by writing a few lines in a basic scripting language. This is a common prank and a neat way to understand how error dialogs work . What you're seeing is so specific that it strongly suggests something like the Dr. Windows prank program, which was designed to show humorous and nonsensical pop-ups just like this.

That error message is definitely bizarre and confusing. But based on what you've described, you're most likely dealing with a type of scam known as "ClickFix", or possibly a prank from some program you installed.

A "joke" program someone installed as a prank, or (less likely) malware trying to trick or distract you. The fact that it's not a standard stop code like 0x00000024 (a real disk error) or 0x0000000A (driver issue) is a big clue.
