Edit the system environment variables (How to restore?)

I accidentally deleted the path of System Variables (Control Panel\System and Security\System\Advances system settings\Environment Variables\System Variables).  I wanted to add the path of python27....

        HotCakeX Sorry, I misread the post. My answer was with respect to the title: "How to restore system environment variables?" and not how to add a known variable.

        I was wondering if there is a way to restore system environment variables without resetting (and restarting) the entire system.
