Edge E-Tree now needs 50,000 points

Since a couple weeks ago I have a problem with the e-tree program which used to require 10,000 points to plant a tree but now it's at 50,000. Judging by the leaderboards it works just fine for other users

  • It's possible there's a temporary glitch within the Edge browser, Microsoft Rewards, or the E-Tree program that's affecting your points display.

I think as of today the program has implemented user specific blocking mechanisms. The moment one reaches 500 point per day mark, it starts to show errors. But the very next day it's all fine as the points goes back to 10. Cool trick eh ?

My second complaint is towards the points is also that why go back to 10 if you miss one day ? Reduce the points gradually as you increase it daily.

Is MS unable to physically plant real trees ? Or the program has become shady ? If unable to keep up. Then stop it completely with a notice. No harm. We won't bother.

If you're experiencing a sudden increase in the number of points required to plant a tree in the Edge E-Tree program, while other users seem to have the normal requirement, there are a few possibilities to consider:

    1. Program update: The program might have undergone an update that increased the number of points required to plant a tree. Developers sometimes make adjustments to the rules or requirements of programs based on various factors. It's worth checking if there have been any announcements or release notes regarding updates to the Edge E-Tree program.

    2. User-specific changes: It's possible that there have been changes to your user account settings or preferences that have affected the number of points required for planting a tree. Check if there are any options or settings within the program that allow customization of point requirements or if there are any user-specific restrictions or bonuses that could be influencing the points needed.

    3. Bug or glitch: There could be a bug or glitch in the program that is causing the abnormal increase in the required points for tree planting. Bugs can sometimes affect specific users or specific situations. If you believe this might be the case, it would be helpful to reach out to the program's support or development team to report the issue and provide them with details about your account and the observed behavior.

In any case, the best course of action would be to contact the program's support or development team directly. They will have the most accurate information and can provide assistance tailored to your specific situation.
