Drifting mouse/Trackpoint option greyed out
For context: For several months now, my mouse has been drifting erratically daily. It can drift in one direction at a time, and change the drifting direction every day. I have tried everything i can ...
The most common reason for a greyed-out option is that the device is disabled at the hardware level. Restart your computer, enter the BIOS (usually by pressing F1, F2, or Del), look for Config or Keyboard/Mouse settings, and ensure TrackPoint is set to Enabled or Automatic.
