D-Link USB 4G LTE Adapter( failing to connect)
I've recently bought a D-Link USB 4G LTE Adapter DWM-222, but when I'm trying to establish any internet connection I only recive an Red light( failing).
However I have a Win 10 Pro ( OEM) Ver:1709-16299-1087 on my Dell Optiplex 3020.Since this is an stationary PC( with an wired internet acess).Since it's an refurbised PC,and that don't have any resources to factory reset.
Since that I have Disabled any futher updates,I no longer can recive any futher updates.Because I've once tryed too update Windows Autheticator, but failed.
But now matter.
Since my USB stick was bought without any restrictions.
What is most confusing is that windows recognizes the USB stick, but fails to establish any connection.
I was also in touch with my internet provider ( Tele2). And that Tele 2 don't have any restrictions on wich unit I can use my cards. Since that I have both an SIM- Card and Datacards.
However I've tryed both with my SIM and Datacard, but it's always the same. Since that I know that both of my SIM and Datacard are vailid.Since I use my Datacard on my Tablet.
When I use an wired connection it all works fine.Since I have an router from Tele2( an 5G that have wired output).
When I'm opening Windows Internet setting I only can find wired connections, but not the USB stick.
So could Windows be in some stucked mode( only accept wired connections), or could the fault be the Stick?( firmware)
When I spoke to Tele 2,two of possibel solutions could be either Windows( Internet connections) or the stick itself.
Since I'm not so familar with modern Windows( gave up after Win Xp), how to reset my Internet connections?
Since I also have VPN ( Nord).
Is it also possibel to reset my stick?
