Finally, my problem is now fixed. And this is my step:
I suggest that you perform a repair/in-place upgrade.
Follow the instructions below.
A. Downloading the Windows 10 ISO file.
1. Download the tool (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=691209), and select Run. You need to be an administrator to run this tool.
2. If you agree to the license terms, select Accept.
3. On What do you want to do? page, select Create installation media for another PC and then select Next.
4. Select the language, edition, and architecture (64-bit or 32-bit) for Windows 10. (Select the same as the currently installed system on your PC)
5. In "Select which media you want to use", Select ISO file then click Next.
6. Select the download location then click Save.
7. Windows 10 ISO file will be downloaded,
B. Repair Upgrade installation.
1. Right-click Windows 10 ISO file and click Mount.
2. Open/run the Setup.exe.
3. The preparation starts
4. To get important updates, select Download and install updates. (Wait while checking for updates).
5. Accept the terms of the license agreement
6. The installation is ready to be applied, verify the information and ensure that "Keep personal files and applications is checked".
7. Click on Install to start the upgrade.
I hope this helps.

Thank you for the advice Ariq, it worked for me. I used the "MediaCreationTool20H2" (opt. A). Just in case I created new hard drive image using "AOMEI Backupper" before the repair. The entire process took about 2 hours.
Microsoft should take more seriously problems like that, it's more than 2 weeks since the problematic update has been released.
- grravaMay 02, 2021Copper ContributorSame, I downloaded the tool from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 and upgraded windows 10 to windows 10...
Weird but it worked, all updates are ok now. Best to run a disk cleanup afterwards.- AnonymousMay 02, 2021Hello!
This confirms that the problems do not arise from the kb50001330 update - only the computer did not have a full environment to install! Components were missing and the update was retiring to protect your computer from a fatal error!, but there can be many reasons.

Ari & Everyone!
I tried "Step A" in Ari's post with a twist and everything worked and I have all the latest updates with no issues so far.
I ran the tool MediaCreationTool20H2.exe from the link Ari posted but selected "Upgrade this PC now", was presented with Install Win10Home & Keep your data and apps, which I accepted and let it finish, it took about 5 hrs and after it finished, it downloaded all the following updates w/o a hitch:
KB4023057 (2021-03 20H2 Update),
KB5001391 (2021-04 20H2 Update Preview),
KB4601554 (.Net 3.5 and 4.8),
KB4577586 (Adobe flash removal).
I really think the culprit all along was KB4577586 trying to remove Adobe Flash, when there was NONE to uninstall, so the updates were crapping out; and for lucky people failing & rolling back, but not for the unlucky ones, thus, wreaking havoc on their machines.
It takes about 4-5 hrs because the "Upgrade this PC now" option will try to troubleshoot as well, so start early in the day.
Thanks Ari for the great detailed steps
- frustrated_userbkApr 27, 2021Copper ContributorThank You! It worked! At least, I no longer get 1330 as an error, and KB4023057 did install. I admit I was somewhat concerned that the process would wipe out all my data and programs, but your instructions were very clear, and the process provides the proper version AND the checkmark for retaining all information.
- Steztheskinhead-Apr 28, 2021Copper ContributorI’ve just done a clean re-installation of Windows 10 & I’m still unable to install kb5001330.
- AnonymousApr 29, 2021Hello! Installing Windows is practically not possible to have one of the latest updates- to be able to come to this is needed a full installation environment, if a component does not have it requires additional time and system diagnostics will detect it and can not install and it is normal!
- Ea5tham_Allc_urchApr 27, 2021Copper ContributorSpot on 👍👍👍. Ariqasy post should be pinned if that is possible on this thread as the definitive solution.
