Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V stopped working
After working perfectly for years usin my Lenovo laptop, now when I try to copy or paste using the keyboard shortcuts they do not work. For instance Ctrl +V ends up simply as "v" not what I was...
After hours of troubleshooting a non-functional CTRL+C shortcut, I found the solution. The problem was a conflict with the Windows Game Bar.
I found the Game Bar was using CTRL+C for its "Record last 30 seconds" atleast it was for me, but I had not assigned this binding to it, and the problem started after I had updated to windows 11. To fix it, follow the below steps
1. "Windows Key + G"
2. Go to settings
3. Locate the keyboard shortcuts
4. Reassign or clear the 'CRTL + C' keybind
