Installing an external application with the highest privileges - I think it is pointless for personal computers that do not act as a workstation!
True, but it is a answer for question number 1. It is possible, and no t necessary "install" procmon, it will run on demmand to monitor. it is good for personal computer users to understang the flow of information. is very graphical and the online doc give a lot of information.

I do not install anything suspicious and I do not want additional remote access to my devices even those that seem helpful - often clutter computers. It's worth mentioning your MTC experience is great.
