Copy and paste software?

My internal 3.5 hard disk that I store data (e.g. txt, xlsx, mp4...) files is failing (data files only, no OS), I want to copy and paste to a new hard disk. I want to copy and paste and go to sleep. I think if I use the normal windows copy and paste, it might hang or stop and popup some message during halfway if it is unable to proceed and ask me if I want to skip or continue etc. I am asleep for 8 hours, so I am unable to click skip or continue during that 8 hours.

1. What software that can automatically skip the files that are unable to copy to the new disk, and let me know what files are unable to copy to the new disk?

2. After the copy and paste process is done, what software can detect what files are not copied and detect if the copied files are the same good quality and same size as the original files?

Use FastCopy with skip enabled and logging to perform the copy overnight without interruptions.

Use Robocopy with logging enabled to copy all files automatically skipping unreadable or problematic files.

Robocopy is a robust, command-line utility that can automatically skip files that encounter errors and log such errors for later review.
