Computer won’t wake from sleep
I got my new desktop last week and unfortunately my son managed to get a crypto mining Trojan and Root kit from Minecraft mods almost immediately, so I had to reformat the machine and reinstall windows.
I am guessing that this is the cause of the problem I am facing but not 100% sure.
If I put the machine to sleep from the start menu it will turn off (although the graphics card and memory RGB lights are still on).
However, when I try to resume by either pressing the power button on the case or pressing a key on keyboard/mouse nothing happens.
Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue?

Since the system was compromised, a clean reinstall of Windows might be the best course to eliminate residual malware or rootkits.
