Computer with black screen and a cursor
Hello, today I tried to sign in on my computor. It just has a black screen with a cursor for me to see. I can't even sign in.
Try perform force shutdown, by pressing power button for 10 seconds and then when PC completely turns off, wait for 3 seconds and then power on your PC and see what happens?

Try to go to the Safe mode and see if you can boot normally and log into the OS.
- Thank you for your response, but as I was looking at the article, I saw there was an advanced settings in Troubleshoot. But I didn't see one. Any reason why?
Are you using latest version of Windows 10? 20H2
as a reminder you can't see it in normal Windows mode, you have to do this first
- Press Windows logo key + I on your keyboard to open Settings. If that doesn't work, select the Start button, then select Settings .
- Select Update & Security > Recovery .Open Recovery Settings
- Under Advanced startup, select Restart now
- After your PC restarts to the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options
