Can't transfer photos from my phone via phone link app

Every time I try to transfer my photos to my desktop from my phone or vice versa it fails. This is over a secure home wifi. Phone Link may as well not even exist for how faulty it is.

    Upload photos to OneDrive, Google Photos, or Dropbox on your phone. Access them on your PC via the cloud app or website.

    Even though you're on Wi-Fi, Phone Link uses Bluetooth to establish a connection sometimes. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on both your PC and phone, and that they are paired correctly.

    If you've tried all these steps and Phone Link still doesn't work reliably, it's worth considering alternative transfer methods or reporting the issue via Feedback Hub in Windows for further assistance.
