Cant install windows 10 from USB drive, cpu is i7-7700k
Hi, will start describing the situation.
My pc is very old, its a gygabyte GA-Z270-HD3P. I want to use it again since i7 is quite decent even for 2022. The issue is i stopped using it because of some unkown issue no one ever helped me with, now when i restarted it, it keeps giving me this error: exception scope invalid or Kmode exception not handled after saying "preapring for automatic repair".
I thought "okay, lets just install windows from 0 using a USB drive". However the result, with both windows 11 and windows 10 is "unsupported processor".
I have not found ANY issue stating that windows 10 cant be installed on my CPU, and even though there are many vids and threads helping install on unsuported CPUs, i cant even do that since i cant get out of bios.....Its in a constant loop of restarting itself, entering repair, and giving the error.
Does anyone have any idea how i might solve this? Thank you

As soon as Windows begins to load, press F8 repeatedly (or Shift + F8, or try pressing Shift + F8 during startup).
Si tu ne peux pas installer Windows automatiquement, télécharge l’ISO de Windows 10 sur le site officiel. Monte l’ISO, puis copie tous les fichiers sur ta clé USB. Ensuite, ouvre l’invite de commandes en administrateur. Bande D : (ou la lettre du lecteur) et appuie sur Entrée. Fais dire pour vérifier que le fichier setup.exe est là. Écris setup.exe et l’installation de Windows 10 va démarrer en mode manuel.
Un truc : tu peux forcer Windows à entrer en réparation automatique.
Pour ça :
- Ferme ton PC de force en gardant le bouton d’alimentation enfoncé jusqu’à ce qu’il s’éteigne.
- Rallume-le.
- Dès que le logo Windows apparaît, garde encore le bouton d’alimentation enfoncé pour l’éteindre.
- Répète cette opération 3 fois.
Après la troisième fois, Windows va détecter un problème et entrer automatiquement en mode de réparation. À partir de là, tu as une chance de réparer ou restaurer ton Windows.
Restore the default settings in the BIOS, then update the motherboard BIOS to the latest version. Finally, use the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool to recreate the installation USB drive.
