Can't edit PDF. How can I enable editing on a PDF from Windows 10?
I have PDF editor installed and the PDF file simply can't be edited. Every time an attempt is made to change any text or content, everything is either greyed out or completely unresponsive. Not sure ...

There are a few reasons why you can't edit a PDF file even you have PDF editing software. And the most common reaosn is that the PDF file is password protected or restricted.
PDFs can have owner-level permissions set by whoever created them that specifically disable editing, copying, or printing, even if the file opens and displays normally. Some PDFs also require a password to unlock editing permissions, separate from the password (if any) needed just to view the file. If you don't have that permission password, most legitimate editors will block modification even though viewing works fine.
You need a PDF password remover app to remove the password restriction in order to enable editing on a PDF file.
