Yes — you can still upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 for free in 2025, even on unsupported hardware, but it’s not officially supported.
Your CPU (Intel i7-265K) isn’t on Microsoft’s approved list, which is why the upgrade is blocked. However, if your Windows 10 is activated, the digital license usually carries over to Windows 11.
To install on unsupported PCs, you must use the Windows 11 ISO with a small registry bypass. It works, but Microsoft does not guarantee full feature updates or long-term support.
Your hardware is powerful enough to run Windows 11 — just be aware of the “unsupported” warning and possible update limitations.
