Using the Copy-and-Paste method if you want to print text messages from Android phone. This method uses only the basic functions of your phone and a computer. No special apps or developer tools are required.
The process involves manually copying the text from each message or conversation on your phone and pasting it into a document on your computer, which you can then print.
How to print text messages from Android phone:
- On your Android phone, open the messaging conversation you want to save.
- Long-press on a message bubble to select it, then use the options to select the entire conversation.
- Copy all the selected text.
- Email the copied text to yourself, paste it directly into a cloud document like Google Docs, or transfer it to your computer via a USB cable.
- Once the text is on your computer, you can open it in any word processor (like Microsoft Word) and print it.
While this method fits your strict criteria, it has major limitations that make it impractical for most needs.
- Extremely Time-Consuming for Long Conversations: Manually copying and pasting each conversation thread is a slow, hands-on process. If you have many messages to print, this method will take a very long time.
- Loss of Formatting and Context: This method usually only captures the plain text. You will lose the original chat bubbles, timestamps, contact photos, emojis, and any pictures or videos that were part of the conversation.
