Blue page says "Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart".
I go to a blue page that says "Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart". We're just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart for you. I get a message that it is 100% complete. Then it says for more information about this issue and possible fixes, visit https://www.windows.cm/stopecode. At the bottom of the window it says "If you call a support person give them this info: Stop code: PAGE FAULT IN NONPAGED AREA. WHAT FAILED: Wdf01000.sys. Everytime the PC reboots it goes to the same page. I'm able to hit F2 to get to the Boot window, but that's it.

Hi all, just wanted to share a good news. My PC (running on Windows 10) has been restored from the ghastly "your device just ran into a problem..." error message. After suffering a two-day system crash and having to use some backup data for temporary work, I realized my PC was rebooted to its normal state and got this AI answer to my Google inquiry: "If your PC automatically restored itself after displaying the error 'Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart,' this likely means your computer experienced a system crash and triggered its automatic system restore feature, reverting to a previous state where it was functioning properly." Moreover, AI overview added some valuable "what you can do" instructions that I quickly followed. Thank you for reading this and good luck to all.

Hi all,
If you are facing the problem frequently or whenever you start the machine / laptop.
first check the laptop physical condition. I have faced the issue and I have tried many ways . Even I have changed the OS also . It was not resolved.
The main issue was my battery got damaged . Once I had changed my laptop battery the issue also resolved.

Wdf01000.sys is a crucial system file linked to the Windows Driver Framework (WDF), a suite of resources and libraries Microsoft offers to streamline the creation of drivers for Windows operating systems. This file plays a key role in facilitating the interaction between hardware devices and their respective drivers.
Experiencing a Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) error involving Wdf01000.sys signals a complication with the Windows Driver Framework. Various factors, such as outdated drivers, hardware incompatibilities, or malware attacks, can trigger this issue.
To address and mend corrupted or missing system files, including issues with Wdf01000.sys, Windows provides two integral tools: DISM (Deployment Image Servicing and Management) and SFC (System File Checker). These tools can be utilized to conduct scans and repairs by launching an elevated command prompt session, which requires administrative rights.

Hello
Please follow the steps below
Start your computer and as soon as the windows logo shows on or the spinning dots near bottom of your screen press and hold the power button to power off your device.
Repeat this 2-3 times
then you will get a text at the middle bottom of your screen saying"preparing automatic repair"
Then, you may be asked to choose an account to continue. Next, type the password of the selected administrator user account. If you are not prompted for this information, skip to the next step.Chances are that windows 10 will to try to make an automatic diagnosis of your PC without telling you to select an admin account
In both the cases
you may get"automatic your PC didn't start correctly" click on the advanced options button Click on troubleshoot then Follow the path “Advanced options -> Startup Settings -> Restart.press 6 or F6 to go into “Safe Mode with Command Prompt.”Then please reply if you still get the same blue screen
If yes then follow the same steps (Start your computer till Advanced options)
then click on Command prompt and type sfc /SCANNOW
wait for a while and then restart your PC
If nothing happens Please contact Microsoft!
also have you backed up your data?
