Black screen after restarting following a Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrade

My system is configured with a 9070XT and 9700RT. After upgrading to Windows 11, the computer restarted and the screen went black, but I could hear a beep when I clicked the mouse. After holding down the power button to force a shutdown and then restarting, the system reported that the Windows 11 update failed. Should I wait overnight and check again, or does this indicate a hardware or system issue?

    Since you already forced a shutdown, avoid repeated power cycles if possible. Sometimes, Windows needs time to complete repairs or rollback.

    Sometimes, Windows updates or driver installations can take time, especially after a major upgrade like Windows 11.
