Best way to edit a pdf document in Windows without adobe acrobat pro?
Okular is a practical open-source document viewer developed under the KDE system, featuring stable performance and solid privacy protection with no charges or extra data tracking. It is a proper tool if you want to know how to edit a pdf document mainly via marking and commenting operations.
You can use its built-in tools to add sticky notes, highlights and underlines to mark key information, fill in interactive forms and insert new text boxes to add remarks or signatures. All newly added content will not affect the original file content, which is quite suitable for leaving reviewing notes. Besides PDF, it supports multiple document formats, fitting well for reading and sorting manuals, e-books and academic papers.
It has an obvious functional restriction: it cannot edit, delete or revise the original text inside PDFs, and only allows users to append new content. Therefore, it works well for students and researchers who only need to annotate files, yet it is not suitable for users who need to correct text errors or rewrite content when learning how to edit a pdf document.
