Any way to turn off Windows 11 upgrade prompt?
Is it possible to turn it off as I don't want to upgrade though this PC does meet all the system requirements.
- Add this key to registry (TargetReleaseVersion) to block the message:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate
You can also adjust your Windows Update settings to reduce or stop notifications regarding upgrades. Here’s how to modify the settings:
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
- Click on Advanced options.
- In the Notifications section, turn off the toggle for "Notify me when a new version of Windows is available."
