If you have a brand-name computer (Dell, Lenovo, HP, ASUS), the manufacturer usually includes a dedicated "Support Assistant" or "Command Center" app for Windows 11/10/7 driver update. These tools are often better than Windows Update because they detect BIOS/Firmware updates that Windows might miss.
Examples of Windows driver update software:
- Dell: Dell SupportAssist or Dell Update.
- HP: HP Support Assistant.
- Lenovo: Lenovo Vantage.
- ASUS: MyASUS or Armoury Crate.
How to do it: Search for your brand's name in the Start menu. Open the app and click Check for Updates. You can usually toggle a setting within these apps to "Auto-install critical updates."
