All the app icons on my Windows 10 system have turned into Zotero
I'm using an older Lenovo ThinkPad running Windows 10 Education (22H2), and recently many of my application icons have been replaced with Zotero icons. To make matters worse, any items I've pinned to the taskbar also appear as Zotero. The programs still run, but the icons are all messed up.
Specs: i3-7100U, 8GB RAM, Intel HD Graphics 620.
Has anyone else encountered this issue?

In the Processes tab, find "Windows Explorer," right-click it, and select "Restart." This will temporarily refresh some display elements.

Your screen might flicker for a moment, and your taskbar will disappear and reappear. This is normal. Check if your icons have returned.

Sounds like the Windows icon cache got messed up possibly after Zotero changed some file associations.
I’d try rebuilding the icon cache first it usually fixes cases where multiple unrelated apps suddenly show the same icon. If that doesn’t help check whether the default app/file associations were accidentally changed to Zotero.
The hardware specs shouldn’t really matter here, this sounds more like a Windows shell/icon cache issue.
