All my folders missing under Windows 10
Hello last night I was on my laptop (with Windows 10 updated), unable to open PDF files (Adobe opened and closed a second later), I'm trying to reinstall Adobe, and it works.
This morning I turn on the PC, almost no more folders, neither on the desktop nor in downloads/documents. There are about 3 out of 30 left.
I of course activated the hidden folders, not found, in the trash nothing, with recovery software they are not found, they simply disappeared...
Do you know what could have happened? Unfortunately I don't have a backup... I know I have little chance of recovering the files but I don't understand what could have happened...

The issue might be related to a software bug, such as a problem with Adobe or another application that you installed or updated recently.

Sometimes, Windows may log you into a temporary profile, which results in seeing a blank desktop and missing files.

Files may have been accidentally moved or deleted, especially if a cleanup or cleanup tool ran unexpectedly.

A recent system update, software installation, or user error might have moved or hidden folders.
